My Rambo

RAMBO 2003-2009

It is a very sad time for me tonight. My dog Rambo ran under the wheel of my son in laws truck and died. I am truly devastated. He turned out to be the best dog and was so cute to watch with Kyleigh. He loved her so much. When she came outside he always followed her around. She would put her little arms around his neck and hug him and talk to him like he could really understand her. He was always running from my house to Leanne's. He couldn't stand to see us turn up her driveway and not be going there too. He always seemed to know if Leanne and the girls were going to be there at their house alone and he would stay there all night and wouldn't come back home until Leanne left for work. He was so good with my teacup poodles, he never tried to hurt them and would tolerate Trigger jumping all over him. I am going to miss him a lot and am just hoping Kyleigh doesn't ask me where is Rambo, because I don't know how to tell a three year old that he is gone. Sometimes I think that maybe I don't need any more dogs, because I get too attached and it hurts so bad when something happens to them, but I know I will get another big dog someday. I guess you just have to learn to live with the good memories and be willing to bring another dog into your life and love it too.

Mom, I honestly don't know how we will ever be able to replace Rambo. Josh & I were both very sad last night. He was a very special dog. I will miss him going on walks with me & knowing that even if he is at your house, if someone was to drive up my driveway, he would be there to bark & protect us. I've never been so sad about a dog or any animal. He truly was part of our family & yours.
