My beautiful Daughter's Shasta & Leanne
Well maybe not right here at home, but at least in the same State. Shasta has decided that she wants to move back closer to her family and her boyfriend, and I am sooooo happy about that. We have missed her very much, especially when the whole family gets together for holidays or family birthdays, etc. There is just this huge void that is right there in the middle of us. I am so proud of her for the person she is and for the job she has done while in Chicago. She has the most awesome heart for the kids that she is working with, no matter where it is she is working. Not everyone can do what she has done, by moving 13 hours away from everyone and everything that she has ever known, but she packed her bags and there she went. I was so worried about her that first year, not that I don't worry now, but I have let God take care of her since he really is the only one that can. She lives in a scary place (at least to me, but I am paranoid) but she seems to just take everything in stride.

I know leaving her job there is really hard on her, since she is so close to her "kids" and co-workers. My heart hurts for her and I don't really know what to say to her to make her feel better. I just hope she knows that I love her and I am praying for her daily not only to be safe, but to have a peace that the kids will get someone that cares as much for them as she does and will be exactly what Breakthrough needs.
Shasta with an attitude....Don't ya
just luv her?

I love my kids so much, each one of them has something so special about them and they all make me so proud. God has blessed Wayne & I with three of the best kids ever and I am a very thankful Mom.
If you read this Shasta, know that I love & miss you!
Forever missing my Pee Wee!

I read Shasta's blog regularly. And she amazes me. She definitely has a heart for those kids and trusts God completely. We trust God also but us mommas try to take care of situations too much... lol. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago, I know how it was 40 years ago, I can only imagine now. And you do have 3 wonderful kids!
Thank you Nel!
I just noticed the attitude picture! LOL...I'm so excited that Shasta is moving closer...just a few more days! I love my sister & can't wait for her to be closer to us!
