I think we sometimes get so caught up in our lives that we tend to forget to thank God for all the blessings he gives us. We mean to thank him but life seems to get in the way and we let it slide. I want to use my blog today to thank him for some of the blessings he has given me. First, for my salvation. Jesus died on the cross for me even though I don't deserve it, and he still loves me. Second, is the best husband in the world. I have no doubt that many many years ago God brought Wayne & I together. It could have turned out so different, but God had a plan & I am thankful for that because we have been married 32 1/2 years & I would do it all over again. I have a note on my desk that I look at everyday that Wayne wrote me, it says "I love my beautiful wife, she is the best part of every day". He never fails to tell me how beautiful I am or how perfect "he" thinks I am. He also said his main goal in life is to make me happy & he has succeeded in that for all these years. We should all strive to do that for our loved ones!
Third is my kids, oh my goodness I am so blessed to have 3 of the most wonderful kids ever. With God's guidance Wayne & I have raised 3 amazing kids. They have brought so much happiness to my life and I am thankful for them everyday. There are not enough words that I could say to tell you how much they mean to me. Through all of life's struggle's they always stand by & support each other. They are always there for each other even if it is just a shoulder to cry on. Makes a Mom proud. I am also thankful for my wonderful daughter in law Bethany. She is a perfect addition to our crazy family & I love her dearly. Also, thankful that Shasta found someone that she wants to spend the rest of her life with, her childhood sweetheart, Jeremy Nichols.
Fourth is my precious Granddaughters. Kyleigh Brooke, who is 4 1/2, her & I have always been so close. She is Memee's little angel. From day one she has held my heart in her hands & I look forward watching her grow up. And my sweet little Emma Grace who is 2 1/2, what a blessing that little girl has been. I have no doubt that God brought her into this world for all of us. She says the cutest things & always has a sweet smile on her face (except when you beat her at Memory)lol!!
Fifth, I am thankful for my little Jazz & the rest of my poodles, my health, my home, my extended family & friends. I could go on and on but you are probably getting bored by now. God, for some reason thought I was worthy to be so blessed & I know I should strive everyday to thank him and grow closer to him, Thank you Jesus for the sacrifice you made for me & for the love you show me each & everyday!
Thankful for the short time I got to spend with little PeeWee!
