Things About Me

Here are some random things about me that most of you probably already know

1. I have been married for 30 1/2 years (happily)

2. I have 3 grown children & 2 granddaughters

3. I have 5 teacup poodles, 1 mixed breed medium size dog, and a mutt stray

4. I am allergic to pumpkin, contrast dye & dust

5. I have a brother and a sister but both my parents have passed away

6. We have a baby calf in our dog pen that is being bottle fed

7. I miss watching my kids play sports especially basketball

8. My son has two National Basketball Records that he set in 2006 while playing for
John Brown University and his team won the NAIA National Tournament in 2005

9. My oldest daughter lives very close to me and is a wonderful mom to two beautiful
little girls

10. My youngest daughter lives in Chicago, 13 hours away from us and I miss her
tremendously

11. I tend to procrastinate which is what I have accused my son of doing for years,
guess he gets that from me

12. I have the most wonderful husband in the world, that I love very much, he was my
high school sweetheart.

13. I have had 2 lower back surgeries and one neck surgery in the last 3 years

14. I got married in a pasture

15. I had the most wonderful Ma Ma ever, I miss her every single day

16. When I was 5, I had a bicycle wreck and the pedal (which was just the bar) went
almost all the way through my calf muscle

17. My brother got run over by a car when he was 4

18. My granddaughters are the sunshine in my life

19. I was very poor as a kid and always felt inferior to all my classmates

20. I never had a birthday party as a kid and rarely got a b-day present

21. My parents didn't attend my wedding, my brother gave me away

22. I wish I could sing, write or have some special talent

23. I played softball, basketball & volleyball for several years after I got married

24. I love creeks, waterfalls, hiking and going on picnics with my family

25. I have a wonderful mother in law

26. I withdraw from people when they hurt me. Instead of saying something I will
regret, I say nothing at all

27. My kids mean the world to me and I am extremely proud of them all

28. I am glad I chose to raise my kids in church and not the way I was raised

29. I would love to write a book someday, just wish I could write

30. I want to go to Wyoming some day to see Yellowstone National Park, but would
love to have a condo on the beach

31. I love spending time at the cabin, just sitting on the porch with Wayne
listening to the creek

32. I hate snow & cold weather

33. Last but most important of all, God is #1 in my life, my redeemer my everything
