MAKES ME WANT TO CRY

I can't believe how fast time flies, just a few short years ago my first granddaughter was born, Kyleigh Brooke! As her Memee, I was pretty sure she was the most beautiful baby in the world. I used to go to Fort Smith once a week to babysit for her while Leanne had to work. I talked to her constantly telling her she was Memee's lil darling, my sweet angel. Her & I are extremely close & I hope that I can be that close with all of my grand kids. Brandon says I have a strange hold over babies.....lol! I won't apologize for that I am so happy that they love me unconditionally as I do them.

I have been telling Kyleigh for a while now that I don't want her to grow up, that I want her to stay Memee's little girl forever, one day about a year ago after telling her that (which always makes her giggle), she said Jesus won't let me stay little, he wants me to grow up, but I will always be Memee's little girl! Well that was good enough for me.

Yesterday, May 17, 2012 she graduated from kindergarten & I was so proud of her. Her teacher came up to me & told me that she was so bright, very intelligent & would do really well in 1st grade. It almost made me cry, because that is almost exactly what Leanne's teacher told me when she was going into 1st grade.





I bought Kyleigh her first "big girl" digital camera (cheap cheap) as her graduation present  & her sweet little face lit up. I think she took about 1000 pictures that day & went through 3 sets of batteries. Two hundred & thirty eight of those pictures were of random baby things in BabiesRUs like blankets, strollers, beds, baby boy clothes, pacifiers, etc......LOL!!!!! Gotta luv those precious grand kids!


Now we get to look forward to Emma graduating from kindergarten next, then Ellie (1 year old) then Isabel & Leanne's (unnamed) baby boy! As Shasta told me though, lets wait until Isabel actually gets here before we start talking about her graduating.......:)))
