Well, it has been a while since I wrote anything new on here. Things have been kinda hectic. Shasta flew into Little Rock on Saturday, so we have gotten a chance to spend a few days with her. She did get to spend time with the girls for one of the birthday parties (Emma's). The main reason for her visit was to come see her Great Uncle & Aunt that flew in Monday from Spain. He is dealing with lung cancer and wanted to make a trip home while he still felt okay. We have a pretty close knit family that means a lot to each other and I am so thankful that my children feel that way about their relatives. Shasta had to leave today and won't be able to come home again until June. Please pray that she continues to be safe (and warm).
Brandon & Bethany came in Friday night and left on Sunday after the birthday party. They are really busy and don't get a chance to come home enough. We will see them again this weekend because they are coming to see Uncle Roy and Aunt Rosa, then heading out to more ballgames on Saturday.
Leanne did a great job putting on Emma's birthday party. It was mainly a party for family with the exception of their friends from the Morrilton area. Emma was adorable eating her cake and making such a mess that she had to be put in the bathtub before she was allowed to touch her feet to the floor. Kyleigh was a sweet big sister, helping Emma open her gifts. Her 3rd birthday party will be next weekend.
Leanne, Shasta and I met with my sister in law Janine and my nieces Stacey & Nicole for lunch on Tuesday. We always have a fun time together. We try to make an effort to get together for lunch around each others birthday. Thanks to Leanne and Stacey for always making the phone calls.Thankfully Shasta was here for this lunch since she has to miss most of them. It is a long trip from Chicago just for lunch (and expensive) lol!
Well guess that is enough for now. I will try to blog more often, but like I said before I tend to procrastinate.

I love this picture of Emma! So cute...have you noticed her looks are starting to change a bit? I can't figure out who she looks like in this picture, but it reminds me of a picture I have seen before...maybe it's Kyleigh's pictures?? Anyway, remind me to look at the rest of your pics from the bday party later!
